Director's Statement: If and (luckily) when prompted, a state-of-the-world emotion appears as something that might be photographed on motion picture film. I shoot that (step one) and hand-process it (step two) in my darkroom. Taking the raw footage and shooting a video of off-the-wall projection (step three) gives a chance to edit on computer and find out if it works as something to share out. Step four is cutting the original film in the decided sequence. Step five is projecting that (what speed speaks most clearly?). If there is to be sound, it will have made itself known by now (or not) so that is to be recorded (or gathered from shoot-time recordings), edited, mixed and fit with the picture.
